Andreas Fuster

Welcome to my website. I am a Professor of Finance at the University of Zurich, a Senior Chair at the Swiss Finance Institute, and a Research Fellow at the CEPR (Centre for Economic Policy Research). 

Previously, I worked in the research department of the Federal Reserve Bank of New York and in the financial stability department of the Swiss National Bank, where I continue to hold a part-time role as research advisor, and was an Associate Professor of Finance at EPFL.

My main research interests are in empirical finance (household finance, real estate finance, banking, fintech), macroeconomics, as well as behavioral and experimental economics. [Profiles: Google Scholar, RePEc, SSRN]

• Co-editor of the Swiss Journal of Economics and Statistics

• Associate editor at the Review of Financial Studies , the Journal of Financial Economics, and the Journal of Financial Services Research.

• Co-organizer of the annual BIS-CEPR-SCG-SFI Conference on Financial Intermediation 

• Academic co-director of the EPFL Executive Education program on FinTech

• Jury member, Innosuisse Innovation Booster for Sustainable Digital Finance
